Welcome to LDS Studio (“we”, “our”, “us”). By accessing our website https://www.lds.studio or using our services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Services
LDS Studio provides the following services:
Website Sprints: Design and development of websites, including core pages, legal pages (T&C and Privacy Policy), and Framer development.
Brand Identity Sprints: Logo design, visual identity, typography, color systems, and brand guidelines.
Ongoing Design Retainers: Flexible design support, including UI/UX, landing pages, motion graphics, pitch decks, and marketing collateral.
All services are delivered according to agreed-upon scope, timeline, and pricing.
2. Quotations & Payment
All quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
Payment is due according to the agreed schedule:
Sprints: 50% upfront, 50% upon completion
Retainers: Monthly upfront payments for the agreed hours
Payments are made via bank transfer, or Stripe.
Late payments may incur a fee or delay in project delivery.
3. Client Responsibilities
Clients agree to:
Provide all necessary materials, content, and feedback in a timely manner
Respond to design drafts and requests for approval promptly
Ensure that any third-party content (images, logos, fonts) is properly licensed for use
Maintain communication and clarify expectations
Delays caused by the client may affect the project timeline. LDS Studio is not responsible for missed deadlines due to delayed client input.
4. Revisions & Scope
Each sprint includes a predefined number of revision rounds (outlined in your contract or project scope).
Additional revisions or changes outside the agreed scope may incur extra fees.
Retainers cover up to 20h/week (≈80h/month). Additional hours will be billed at the agreed rate.
5. Intellectual Property
Upon full payment, the client receives ownership of the final delivered designs and materials.
LDS Studio retains the right to showcase the work in portfolios, case studies, and marketing materials unless a separate NDA is signed.
All tools, templates, and pre-existing assets used by LDS Studio remain the property of LDS Studio.
6. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to keep confidential any proprietary or sensitive information shared during the engagement.
Information shared for design, strategy, or project purposes will not be disclosed without written consent.
7. Limitation of liability
You agree and accept that lds studio is not legally responsible for any loss or damage suffered or incurred related to use of any of my services, whether from amendments, errors or omissions in documents, designs, information or any goods or services offered by myself. This includes your use or reliance on any third-party content, links, comments or advertisements. Your use of, or reliance on, any information or materials I produce, amends or designs is entirely at your own risk, for which I shall not be liable.
You acknowledge that such information and materials may contain inaccuracies or errors and expressly exclude liability of lds studio for any such inaccuracies or errors to the fullest extent permitted by law.
I affirm that all designs presented to you will be original and to the best of my knowledge will not infringe/plagiarise any other work. I will perform limited checks to ensure that my work has not unintentionally infringed on another’s design, including limited checks against the WIPO database and reverse image checks across search engines. However, I assume no legal responsibility for any loss or damage suffered or incurred related to legal issues regarding the originality or authenticity of my work. You agree to perform your own checks and due diligence regarding plagiarism and originality. Should you have any concerns, please discuss this item with me prior to commencing work.
8. Licensing of Fonts & Assets
Any fonts or third-party assets used in the design are subject to licensing rules.
Clients are responsible for obtaining commercial licenses for fonts or assets if required.
9. Termination
Either party may terminate a project or retainer agreement with 30 days written notice, unless otherwise stated in the contract.
In the event of termination:
The client is responsible for payment for work completed up to the termination date
Deliverables up to that point will be shared upon receipt of payment
10. Liability
LDS Studio is not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services or website.
While we take all reasonable care, we do not guarantee specific results, revenue, or performance metrics.
11. Website Use
By using https://www.lds.studio, you agree not to:
Copy or replicate content, designs, or materials without permission
Attempt to access restricted areas of the website
Engage in harmful or illegal activity
12. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Portugal. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of local courts.
13. Changes to Terms
LDS Studio reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time.
Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
